Spring Strings Update
Hi all! I hope you are well. We are finally starting to see some warmer weather! As we get closer to our concert date, I wanted to share some important information and helpful links.
Concert Details
Date & Time: June 9th at 6:30 PM
Location: Beverly Middle School
Arrival: Students should meet in the first-floor cafe at 6:00 PM to tune and warm up.
Dress Code: Spring, summer, and bright colors are encouraged! Please avoid sneakers, Crocs, high heels, jeans, shorts, sweatpants, or sweatshirts. Ties are not required, but certainly encouraged.
Extra Help
As the concert approaches, some students may feel they need a bit of extra practice. I am happy to provide extra help on Fridays from 2:15–3:15 PM at Centerville. If there is high demand from students at a different school, I will do my best to coordinate a time to meet there as well. Please email me if you are interested so I know to stay in Beverly after school.
Practice Tracks
We have just started a brand-new piece! To help the students prepare, I have posted practice tracks below. Students can choose to play along with the full ensemble or just their specific part.
Instrument Returns
School Loaners: These will be inspected and returned the week following the concert. I will pick these up directly from the students.
Johnson Strings: Please ensure instruments are left in the school office by the morning of June 16th.
Spencer Brooks: Please ensure instruments are left in the school office by the morning of June 17th.
Music and Arts: Please contact them directly to schedule your return.
Music at the Middle School
If you haven't already, please take a moment to sign up your student(s) for the Middle School music ensembles. Music is a vital part of a student's development, whether they pursue it as a career or a lifelong hobby. Our strings students are well-equipped for these ensembles, and I know they will do a fantastic job!

The Final Push
With spring sports in full swing and the end of the school year in sight, it’s easy for practice routines to slip. We have one final push until the concert! After the performance, we will meet only once more to return instruments and reflect on the year. Please help me encourage the students to keep up their practice through the finish line.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible, whether you drove a forgotten instrument to school (sometimes for multiple weeks), signed up for extra help, managed rentals, or simply provided the daily encouragement to practice. Your commitment makes all the difference.
